For us, it’s not a goal, in it self, to play the game of Scrum as perfectly as possible; rather, it’s a (very good) means to increasing the happiness of employees and customers. Thus, many organizations take a, somewhat, pragmatic approach to Scrum. However, if the Scrum Values and agile principles don’t align with your company culture, maybe it’s a good excuse to change it—or the place you work.
